Obedience Classes Offered

Basic Obedience – 8 week course
This class covers all the basics and is great for a new dog or puppy! Your dog is never too old to learn new tricks! We cover sit, down, stay, solutions to problem behaviors and a lot of special topics like grooming and traveling with your canine companion. The only requirement is a dog and a positive attitude!.

Basic Obedience – 5 week course
This class covers most of the basics (without special topics) at a much faster pace than the 8 week course. This is a good choice for busy people who can’t commit time to a longer class. The only requirement is a dog and a positive attitude!.

Advanced Obedience – 5 week course
Proofing! Proofing! Proofing! We will do a lot of training “the basics” around dis tractions. Behaviors for this class will be tailored around the level of the students and will include some of the more advanced cues.

Intro to Rally – 5 week course
What are all those signs about? Come find out! This class covers a bit of heeling and the level 1 (APDT) and Novice (AKC) signs. This is a great class if you’ve never done rally before or if it has been a while and you need to brush up on the foundation skills.

APDT Rally – 5 week course
This class covers the APDT signs (L1-L3 including bonus exercises). We’ll work on perfecting the performance and putting small courses together. Class size will be small to allow detailed work based on the level of the students, but expects lots of Rally fun!!
