Everything Dogs, LLC Trading As
Dogwood Training Center
Inclement Weather & Winter Parking Policy
In the event of inclement weather, classes at Dogwood Training Center may be
cancelled by owner, Sally Boarman. The decision to cancel will be based upon
weather reports, recommendations of local authorities, condition of roads
leading into Dogwood, as well as the condition of Dogwood’s parking lot.
In the event of cancelled classes, make-up classes will be offered.
If a decision is made to cancel classes it will be made 2 hours prior to
class time and the message at the Dogwood phone number of 740-666-2018 will be
changed to reflect the cancellation. Students are
encouraged to call the Dogwood number within 2 hours of their class, if
they are questioning whether or not classes will be held. If there is no
message indicating that classes have been cancelled, then classes will be held
as usual.
Students are encouraged to use their best judgement regarding whether or not to
venture out into inclement weather in order to come to class. While it is
understood that students want to come out and have fun with their dog and
participate in training, the safety of all must be the primary concern. Classes
may be held if the weather in the Delaware area is not bad, however, if
students find the weather in their area is causing unsafe road conditions they
are encouraged to remain home. Should a student need to miss a class due to
poor weather conditions in their area, they are encouraged to contact the
owner, Sally Boarman, in order to determine if a make-up class is available on
other day. There is no guarantee that a make-up class will be available but
effort will be made to make alternate arrangements.
Winter Parking:
Regardless of the severity of the weather, if there is snow on the
ground ALL students (agility, flyball and obedience) are asked to use the main
parking lot at 8738 Slocum.
Please park in an efficient manner in order to assure that there is room for
all students.
Students are required to remain in designated parking areas only, adhering to
snow markers for boundaries.
Dogwood will make every effort to offer a plowed, accessible parking lot
however vehicles without 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive should use their own
judgment during major snow events. Please remember this is a rural, windy area
and that parking lot and road conditions could change at any time.
